Good morning! While you are learning at home, I will be sharing with you a few books read by our own ACES staff.

Book #20: Mrs. Forney reads How to Get a Girlfriend by Alexander Hald, Leo Dzuver, and Matej Crnogorac. Written by three kindergarten students, this book tells the reader step by step how to get a girlfriend.

Book#10: Mrs. Lesh reads Burger Boy by Alan Durant. This is a book about a boy who only likes burgers and one day he turns into a burger.
Book #9: Mrs. Hoffman reads The Wide Mouth Frog by Keith Faulkner,. The frog is very interested in the eating habits of others until he meets someone who thinks he would taste delicious!
Book #8: Mrs. Froehlich reads Bark George. George, a dog, cannot figure out what he is supposed to say.
Book #7: Mrs. Grimes reads Mortimer by Robert Munsch. This was my son's favorite book when he was little. This book is about a little boy who would much rather sing his rowdy song than go to sleep.
Book #6: Book #6: Mrs. Ellis reads No, David! A fun book about a five year old boy who gets into mischief. This is one of my favorite books!!
Book #5: Book #5: Mrs. Davis reads Library Mouse. This is a story about a little mouse that lives in the reference section of a library.
Book #4: Mrs. Atoe will be reading We Don't Eat Our Classmates by Ryan T. Higgins. This is about the first day of school of a tiny t-rex dinosaur.

Book #3: Mrs. Atchity will be reading Tacky the Penguin by Helen Lester. Tacky is an odd bird who marches to his own beat but the other penguins find out he is a good bird to have around.

Book #2 is titled UNDERWEAR! by Jenn Harney. Mrs. Svendsen and her son Grayson will be reading this funny book about a little bear and his underwear!
Book #1 is titled Where the Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendak. Below is the link for you to watch Superintendent Lawrence read that book - this is one of his favorites!
